Our story

Ran by volunteers, The Wildflower Industry Network NSW Inc. was created to support growers and nurture a vibrant and sustainable wildflower industry in New South Wales. We are a community of dedicated growers, united by our passion for cultivating and showcasing the unique beauty of Australian native flowers. Our mission is to offer a platform for connection, education, and advocacy, ensuring the enduring success and recognition of our industry.

Our history

Wildflower Industry Network NSW Inc. was Incorporated in 2011. Prior to then it was known as Waratah Industry Network (WIN), established back in the 90's. To be recognised by Government bodies, particularly NPWS, the group needed to become incorporated. Thus, the name change from Waratah to Wildflower Industry Network NSW Inc. to represent growers of all varieties of NSW wildflowers and African Proteaceae.
